Time will say nothing but I told you so,
Time only knows the price we have to pay;
If I could tell you I would let you know.
If we should weep when clowns put on their show,
If we should stumble when musicians play,
Time will say nothing but I told you so.
There are no fortunes to be told, although,
Because I love you more than I can say,
If I could tell you I would let you know.
The winds must come from somewhere when they blow,
There must be reasons why the leaves decay;
Time will say nothing but I told you so.
Perhaps the roses really want to grow,
The vision seriously intends to stay;
If I could tell you I would let you know.
Suppose the lions all get up and go,
And all the brooks and soldiers run away;
Will Time say nothing but I told you so?
If I could tell you I would let you know.
I forgot about that spinner party. Can we still meet
up sometime soon?

You're a love song
Only half-way sung,
You're the knot
That comes undone,
You're the daylight
Dressed as darkest night,
The flight of a string-less kite.
The very vision,
The mirage man.
You're air in the palm of my hand.
You're like catching
The day's sunset,
Or rain that's never wet
You're a butterfly in the mind.
You're a butterfly before my eyes.
You're a butterfly, a trick of time.
Who leaves before he arrives.
You're a butterfly in the mind.
You're a butterfly before my eyes.
You're a butterfly, who says he's mine.
Who leaves before he arrives.

"I have looked the last upon that which was fairest. Henceforward I will call nothing fair...
Why did I come on this quest? Little did I know where the chief peril lay...
We could not foresee what might we might meet upon our road. Torment in the dark was the danger that I feared, and it did not hold me back. But I would not have come, had I known the danger of light and joy. Now I have taken my worst wound in this parting, even if I were to go this night straight to the Dark Lord."
And, I'm back from MA now.

I'm reading Lord of the Rings now.
I read a bunch of stuff. Fairy tales by the Grimms and Hans Andersen.
Nothing particularly interesting happened to me though. I played a lot of cards and su doku.

I'm reading it right now, too.
Plus fairy tales are the best.
Ever played Kakuro? It's like
Sudoku.

But I'll keep trying!

Good luck! It's been a few years since
I've tried one, but I think I solved a
few.
Man, you should've visited now rather than
before, 'cause there's lots of bottled
water and decent food to make sandwiches
that actually taste good.

yusr In reply to minesweeperaddict [2010-08-21 15:41:49 +0000 UTC]
Really? Someone else told me it seemed
like "user". Apparently a yusr is also
a kind of prayer bead or something. I
picked it 'cause I use the name Yusri a
lot for heroes in games(though I use
Suou and Axx a lot, too.), in one I'm
playing now, on the battle screen, each
name is 4 letters. Therefor, Yusr.
Lame, right?

Not only your book and the skip beat volumes,
you left your hat. ;_; I'm sorry, I should have
gone up with you to make sure you got everything..
By the time I got outside to see you off, too, you
had already gone...

Music, when soft voices die,
Vibrates in the memory,
Odours, when sweet violets sicken,
Live within the sense they quicken.
Rose leaves, when the rose is dead,
Are heaped for the beloved's bed;
And so thy thoughts, when thou art gone,
Love itself shall slumber on.

'The singing sea
The talking trees
All silent in a noisy way
The stars are bright
But give no light
The world spins backward everyday
A rainbow rat
A checkered cat
Go tail in tail around the road
The mouse is pleased
The moon is cheese
The sun is shining hot and cold
A golden bird
Today I heard
Sitting upon a silver branch
His little song was very long
Which made me sad and start to laugh
My sister is he
My brother is she
But there is only me in the family
When I grow up
I'll go down
The river to the Singing Sea'
Perhaps not completely relevant, but I thought it was cute..

I guess I'm alright.
I've been having a good weekend, at least.
I've just been listening songs from the Disney version of the Hunchback of Notre Dame and painting.
Have you ever read the book?
Are you still getting headaches?
π: 0 β©: 1
minesweeperaddict In reply to RajaJugaro [2009-10-13 22:25:21 +0000 UTC]
Well, I'm quite glad to hear that.
I have not read the book. D: D: D: I say that far too often.
But I love the songs from the movie! And just the movie in general. The priest guy is one of my favorite disney villans...following Scar.
I am not having headaches anymore. Thank you for asking.
π: 0 β©: 1
RajaJugaro In reply to minesweeperaddict [2009-10-13 23:48:56 +0000 UTC]
Yessss. I love the songs.
Despite how(duh) different they are, I still adore the Disney version,
which is interesting since I only really like a few Disney movies(even though they had the worlds most amazing animators )
The 1982(I think) version of the movie is really good, too.
You should really consider reading the book.
The book has some really interesting twists that there was no time to explore in the animated version.
(Also, they cut out one of the most main characters, Gingoire, whom I adore.
Like different parts of him went into Clopin and Phoebus.)
I'm like in love with Frollo, he's amazing. xD
In the Disney version I love him, too(he would be my favorite Disney villain by far), even though they took out everything that made him a good guy so he could be more of a villain...
Like, he's actually the arch-deacon, not a judge.
Also, he didn't kill Quasimodo's mother- she abandoned him in front of the church,
and some nuns were going to burn him,
but Frollo feels a gigantic amount of compassion and saves him.
Also, he has a bratty little brother named Jehan whom he raised and spoils, it's adorable.
