Sure! You just go to your page while logged in, and look at the left hand side where there should be a little mona lisa icon with a green arrow on top. Next to the mona lisa it will say "Submit Deviation."
Now it gets a little tricky. Add your deviation title, and then decide which category your picture belongs in. there are lots of categories, and it's okay to be off with which category your art belongs in as long as it's in the ballpark. Add your deviation in the box below that, as there will be a button saying "add a file."
The rest is pretty free-fly and if you need help you need only ask!

To upload your avatar simply visit the Public > Identity section of your Edit Settings & Profile page. Once on this page you will need to click on the button titled 'Change Avatar', you will then be presented with a popup dialog allowing you to upload your avatar. Once done click on "OK".
You may also submit your avatar through the normal submission process, using the Category Customization > Icons > Avatar.
To remove your avatar visit the Public > Identity section of your Edit Settings & Profile page. Once on this page you will need to click on the link entitled 'Reset Your Avatar' and then confirm this change. Once done click on "OK".
