I LOOOOVE peter gabriel. I think the man is a genius and would love to kidnap him and work with him someday.

I think some people don't really know his music and how good it is til you show them.

I like some genesis.
I like phil collins too.
(not as much as PG tho)

"Land of Confusion" and "carpet Crawlers" are my faves from Genesis.

i don't like Phil Collins' solo, not a bit. Though i love Genesis, my fave album is 'a trick of the tail'- -'Land of Confusion' was the song that got me into Genesis, i still love it! (maybe partly from the video)
i went to see Genesis last year when they reformed, it's a shame Peter Gabriel didn't do it tho...
Oh yeh! I love 'Home By The Sea' too!

I've never seen the land of confusion video I don't think...I just adore the lyrics and love how it's sung.
That and "carpet crawlers" are my favs from genesis
I like "that's all" alot and "tonight, tonight, tonight"
I know that PG did sing with them at one point for a remake of carpet crawlers...

Oh, nice you've heard the newer PG stuff...
"More Than This" and "growing Up" are excellent...I really love "Sky Blue/Cloudless" too.
I love so many of his songs but I think along with those, I really adore That Voice Again , Zaar, Love to Be loved, Talk To Me, Mercy Street (the SO Version), The tower that ate people, and digging in the dirt...
ahhh i can't narrow it down much at all it seems. He's just such a great artist. I love the song he did with Solidays too..."qui sait?"

I can't narrow songs down at all really. Cos when you talk about another song you think, 'oh i like that one too...' so picking faves is too hard!

Cloudless is so good...
Sometimes I feel like some instrumentals say more than songs with words ever could. Imogen Heap's "Cumulus" is also like this. When I try to explain it to people I usually can't and just end up saying "listen to it"
I spose it means something different to everyone, but to everyone it means something...
Now I think on it. "Zaar" is also like this.

PG songs are hard to narrow down, so I def know what you mean. That's why I just "I love his work" There's too many good ones. It seems a lot of people don't know that, tho, cos they question my liking him, until I play something other than "In Your Eyes" (which I do love, anyway) I noticed (pretty much just now, lol) that you live in the UK, so maybe it's different there...

yeh, i get the instrumental thing with both genesis and Peter Gabriel, sometimes they're better to listen to.
