I so appreciate the fave. It brought me here. Now. You are a wildlife photographer. And you shoot models, too. With lots of makeup in the featured series. I would love to know more about you.

Well now... where do I begin?
So many years ago there was a time I did a lot of studio work (portraits, model portfolios, etc.), And Lot's of weddings. Time moved on, I was going to school for an engineering degree, got married, had kids.
Darn it if those last two don't cost money! So I cut back on the studio work, started doing more and more Computer industry work, and then stopped doing weddings all together as well.
Roll forward a few years... (ok, so more than just a few) I've now worked significant amount of time for what were then ('80's & 90's) Great companies to work for... Still work for one of those now. Anyhow through the years I would periodically continue to dabble in areas of interest within photography. You know, a wedding here and there, a boudoir shoot or three every couple of years, Digital cameras Really tweaked my interest higher and deeper back in the early days in the mid-to-early 90's. I travel a lot for my IT position to all sorts of places... Including your lovely state of MI. (GM, Ford, Chrysler, VW of America and more are all Big users of our computers... and you know where they are!)
With these travels opportunities, can more and more photo opportunities. I've always loved nature and wildlife, and it's a good escape from the hectic world of IT all week. (so is going to the Renaissance Faire in full costume!) I tied my love of wildlife and photography together... but I still kept my desire to do other types of photography in my head, and partook of those when appropriate opportunities arose.
During the past two years, I have been working more and more locally (Chicago area) so I was not traveling overnight or on many week long or longer trips. So I have been pursuing shooting more models and such as I can get access too. I have lot's of ideas, and many things I would like to experiment with (nothing too kinky though... hum???)
I would love to grow my portfolio(s) around more artistic fine art nudes or semi nudes... both indoor and out. As well as some glamour photography, more boudoir scenes/themes, and more (I have a thing for uniquely tattooed women). Right now it's just a matter of finding appropriate time, and models willing to work on expanding in these areas. Know any good models? (just teasing!)
I did take time to look through your gallery here, and saw you are also on ModelMayhem...
My MM # is #728962 at: [link]
The overly painted models in my stuff here are from a Body Painting workshop I attended at a local studio here where I sometimes rent time at. You know, working on expanding my skills there too. It was an interesting as well as good time there. Met some good models and other photographers too. I've also been working with another lady who is in the middle of growing her Tattoo collection, so as she get's a new one and it heals up... we shoot another session documenting the beauty and the art.
So, that's a lot about me and my photography... I know I rambled on here a bit, and stuff... But I was just trying to honestly answer your question(s) and let you know from where my passions and desires. Hope I didn't scare you.
Do let me know what your thoughts are now...
Are YOU still actively modeling? Absolutely LOVE that Hugh Tub, Is that Yours?
thanks;
---michael
