Yeah I've mainly just been doing studies from them,
I'm hoping to start making my own stuff this year that might reflect that style mixed with a stylized one too.

I think you have a style down already. It's quite great since I run into issues where I can copy the photo exactly and it just looks like a photo realistic style which I'm not pleased about. You are so lucky and talented to get down a style so quickly with that rich tones in your painting.

I don't post most of my stuff on DA so it isn't really evident.
I had that exact problem, I'm trying to break out of that habit and be more intuitive.

I do see a style emerging with some of your works- they seem to compliment each other in terms of technique and concept. I think letting it happen naturally is the best method, one day you'll probably be like 'Wow, so THIS is my style'.

Ahh don't say that I really do see the "feel" of it. There's something luminescent with your work that it's too complex to put into words.
Oh is it for the "watercolor" and inking works that you're seeing a style coming out? I kind of want to also have a style that is more like a painting rather than a design. XD (it's good to have more than one I think since I get bored lol)

Yeah I think its that, but in general I see a nature-theme emerging in your work, from animals to flowers and organic shapes. I'm not sure if that is a common concept you like to work with.Β

Ahh yes I do like nature! I'm planning to draw darker concepts when I feel more comfortable drawing people (which is why I'm practicing and having different ways of coloring/drawing them)
