It was really good! I'm trying to write one of my own right now, but it's hard coming up with a plot... After all, I'm the type of person who can't just write a plain ol' Romance story, there needs to be action XD
It was both adorable, yet saddenning, so I congratulate you on being able to create such a contradictory feeling inside of me... Especially about the statue... For some reason (and I'm pretty sure the statue would not appear to look like him at that point in time, mainly because of his greed) I could not get the image out of my head of him in his rockin' green suit with his guitar as a statue XD
So, all in all, I really liked it.

It's even harder for me to write because I write on inspiration. I don't just write spontaneously.
You are the second person to say that, again I had no idea I was able to write a story that produces such contradicting emotions. Thanks for the congratulations. All these helpful comments will probably help me grow as a writer and my stories will keep on improving.
You probably imagined the statue like that because making a statue of him/herself is something a rich person would do. In reality the statue of him, is him watering a truffula tree. I will add that to the story OK?

hmmm... well I suppose it is a spoiler for my next fan fic but I won't spill too many beans so I'll tell you.
It is Old Once-ler with a 'new look' that makes him reminiscent of his younger self.
Thanks for reminding me to add that part in. I'll have to add it to this fan fic once I've uploaded the next one for continuity. This is because the next one is set before this one and involves him getting a new look.
