I really liked the working buckles on yours!
The problem I was having with mine was how to connect the two top straps to the belt under the bust while still making everything adjustable.

I saw a similar contraption on photobucket and I didn't know where the picture had come from. It had an idea similar to mine only the one I saw was made of like Vinyl Upholstery material from JoAnn [or something like that]. I just though it should be something sturdier than that xD The one I saw also had working buckles in all 3 places so I just ran with it. I find belts are just wayyyy easier to work with xD
Did you get your problem worked out?

Yeah, you were smart to go with sturdier fabric! I am actually trying to construct mine from upholstery, only because the woman I bought it from gave me a lot of it for a really good price, and I wanted it to match my goggles/holsters, which is why I bought the thin upholstery. I've never worked with leather and didn't feel like paying for it, haha! XD
So anyway, the only materials I've got to attach the straps are... those little brass brads used as school supplies. They look like rivets, and they're fine for decorative purposes, but they aren't exactly durable and sturdy, and the harness isn't at all adjustable. I'll need to find matching buckles to sort of do what you and the person from photobucket did. :3
I will play around with it again, and definitely let you know if I finish it. Thanks so much for the advice!
And by the way, may I ask where you acquire such gorgeous gears to work with? Your jewelry is beautiful.

Pro-tip, my chest suspenders cost me about $3.50<3 I looooove Goodwill :]
You could do buckles, I would again *points above* go get some belts from Goodwill/Salvation Army [or similar store w/e xD] then take the buckles off of those. Some stores give the stock they don't sell to Goodwill so you can find multiples of the same belt in different sizes! That is EXACTLY what I did lol. I use belts for tons of things so everytime I go to a thrift store I always buy at least one belt per trip. Those belts I used actually were all originally from Target.... and the real outside of them is purple shiny crap lol.... I turned them inside out and used them!
I hunt clocks. Chances are if you go to a thrift shop and you go through the clocks there you can find SOMETHING to use. If it uses a battery, don't buy it. Most if not all of the gears are plastic. I would only buy a battery clock if the clock hands were really pretty and even then I wouldn't spend a lot on it. You can find gears in other things too, you just have to look! Pocket watches have really nice gears [tiny ones at that] and we've found a couple at Goodwill in the jewelry case before. We just went antiquing today and picked up 2 really old clocks to take apart! You can also order some off of ebay and other shops online n.n Mainly just look around the net and you're bound to find something.

Cool! Thanks for all the advice. It turns out there's a chance I might be going to con tomorrow as well as Sunday, so I'm seeing if I can't work out the harness by the morrow. XD
I'm also a thrift store/Salvation Army/Goodwill lover, and the clocks I find always seem to have plastic gears, so I don't buy them. Maybe I just need to be patient! ^^'
I've found gears in scrapbooking sections, too, for glueing into them I guess. Just something I remembered. XD
And you're welcome for the watch! <3

That's really cute! But... sometimes headbands don't suit me that well... hmmm. I'll play around with the idea.
I was sort of thinkin' about a bow to wear on the side of my head, too. That's like the only hair accessory that has ever worked with my hair, lol.

Your just against everything I suggest now arn't ya?
haha, jk. A red bow would be really cute. Especially since your blond hair is so shiny, so if it were a darker red like your skirt it would really stand out in your hair.

I just try to help ya brainstorm.
Which reminds me, I heard a song on the radio and it reminded me of you. "I love just who you are, I'd never try to change that, you are a shooting star, you are my favorite."

Probably. I don't listen to that channel much, but it was really cool. I'll try to write down the next time I hear it.
