Exactly. I usually do a comic for my new characters to flesh em out a bit and that helps my find out their personalities so it's easier to put them in a still image.

Well I like writing stories so that helps. That's how I made Cas! At first all I knew is I wanted her to have scars and be more shut in and in her thoughts than a normal teen. Then boom, I did a mini doodle of her and I got to typing that story!
