hey (:< I'm FINALLY seriously planning his fursuit! I've picked out fur colours, a foam base, etc. and all I need is teeth, stuff for paws, claws, etc.

yEs i have been very busy with school recently, so sorry its taken this long already.
my trello is up to date, im about 99% done with the design thats been under “lining/coloring/shading”, im literally just waiting to hear back from the commissioner about the name of the character (theyve taken very long to respond throughout this whole thing so its been really slow with theirs), and im waiting to hear back about the sketch for the other one! 
after that its straight to the commissions you bought and ill start the sketch for the one for your boyfriend as soon as i get the OK on the sketch of the commission before yours!
school has been very busy and i have a PACKED schedule and have had some relationship issues that have all combined sucked the life out of me, i sincerely apologize for that.

No it's fine! Don't worry about it.
But I do have one question, wouldn't it be more productive to work on other commission sketches while you're waiting for the okay for another one? (that way you dont have to sketch them, wait for the okay, line it, etc. and then start sketching another commission, you can have multiple just waiting to be lined instead if that makes any sense)

Yes, that would get work done quicker in theory, however I don’t do that on purpose because I know I will burn out and having too many unfinished things really wares on me and stresses me out 24/7 until I finish everything. I only work on 2 commissions at a time max to preserve my own sanity. This is the only time i’ve waited over a day to hear back from somebody about a commission so i’m going to continue with my current system because it works well for me and doesn’t drain me mentally. I’m going through a really painful and drawn out breakup at the moment and I just ask you to please be patient with me because art isn’t the first thing on my mind right now as i’m still trying to manage keeping up on school work while having no motivation to get out of bed in the morning.

I didn't realize you were going through a breakup rn, I'm sorry to hear that & I apologize if I added to your stress.
I hope you are able to find something to replace (him? her? them? dsjfkjre) as a motivator for you, breakups really suck. I've been through one and I've helped friends through theirs (actually helped my current boyfriend through a breakup w his ex a couple years ago,,, and that one was just y i k e s)

I meant like distracting yourself (but also allowing yourself to grieve and try to heal) with a pet, videos, writing, etc.

i feel like it attracts more attention if you have the price in the title? at least with my experience. because then the people who see it in their notifications or in a group and think it’s a reasonable price are more likely to check it out, at least that’s my reasoning.
also i’m reallY picky about what art i do? like sometimes i’m feeling rly good about my busts or my headshots and only wanna draw those for a while but now i only wanna draw customs so i can have commissions open specific to that.
