i'm a writer, but i'm not a very good one and at the moment i'm sort of on a hiatus while i focus on my mental health. i'm kind of an awkward person and tend to forget to reply to people, so i apologize if you've ever sent me something and never gotten a response.i appreciate all the feedback i get, however, and truly adore everyone who support me. you guys are great and the reason i'm still on this trainwreck of a website.

Hey, so Fates is finally out in over here in a week, which game do you recommend I buy first?

Birthright, then Conquest, then Revelations...Birthright is the easiest, Conquest is the hardest, and Revelation is in the middle but it's basically the full story. I always play Revelation now when starting a new game. Personally, I prefer Hoshido over Nohr when talking about the storyline and character personalities, but Nohr's character designs are great and they have more classes I like (i.e. Malig Knight). But it's all up to personal preference!
Basically if you want Takumi to love you, get Birthright. If you want to experience the crushing depression of him wanting to kill you on sight, get Conquest.
...this may only apply to me though because I fucking love Takumi :'D

I really like the look of Nohr and "reforming your kingdom from within" seems like a cool idea, because it's different from what you usually do in Fire Emblem games...buuut I've been trying really hard not to spoil it for myself, so I guess it's Birthright for me. XD
I don't know who Takumi is, I've only seen the occasional fanart for him so I'm okay with having to murder him at the moment. XD

Takumi, Xander, Ryoma, Niles, Rhajat, Jakob, Shura, Shigure, Azura...I've got plot bunnies for all of them and other characters but I don't know if I'll actually do it. Writing takes a lot of out me nowadays...

I think some may! Fates' characters are...a lot more complex, in my eyes. There's more to them than what you initially think--at least, that's what I see it as. Not to be biased but Takumi is definitely one of those characters.

Yeah, it does seem like a pretty big storyline, I can't wait for friiiday. (Gaius, Maribelle, Lon'qu and Miriel will hold special places in my heart, though. <3)
