YES YES. I have been here for like. only a semester so far, this is my second oneee aaughhh I am a freshmaaan DX I went to CU first, but then I changed my mind and after a year kind of got ushered into AWESOMENESS here. AND YES IT IS LAKEWOOD LAKEWOOD HIGHHH, I actually went there--and don't worry omg mine don't look like lakewood at all XD the only clue I have is the colfax sign on one of the pages.

Oh, yeah, smackjeeves is like Yaoi land. I wouldn't mind it so much if it wasn't so... in my face, haha. But it's like romance, I enjoy it when it's comical and light hearted, you know, I really don't care for the intense "hot guy make-out scenes".

yeah, but it's like super centered around it, and its almost as if though they just made a comic so that it could be yaoi. I'm being a bit critical right now, I've just seen too much yaoi on that site that it's like a trend.
but thats exactly why I liked your comic so much, I didn't feel like I was reading something cus I wanted to watch some hot bishies get it on, I felt like I was reading something to entertain me and to inspire me.

Oh, poor Lawson, yeah. I feel like such a mean person sometimes when I write the story. It's so horrible, but I must make him go through it. Oh, don't feel slow, the word "hoove" is supposed to be spelled "hoof" anyway, so it's a bit hard to catch that sometimes. I have my reason for spelling it that way, but thats a whole other story.
I also realized while looking at your character profiles that Danny's last name is actually "Lawson". You know how cool that is?

Your reasoning makes sense, though! It's hard not to be a little critical. And I think BL and yaoi takes up at least half of SJ. I guess it's kind of like how a lot of guys find lesbians super hot, where as a lot of smackjeeves users are young girls who I guess have the same view of men. I dunno. I'm not gonna try to understand it fffff.

Oh, it's good to hear that, I don't want people to think I'm cruel, because there's a point to all his suffering. I'm glad your attached, it means my characters are likable (YAY, I CAN DO SOMETHING RIGHT FOR ONCE!). well, half of the reason is explained in the second chapter I think, but the other half is just kind of a real life experience. but if your interested, well, I was first making this two years ago after I had the dream that started it all. But I needed a name. Back then when Lawson wasn't a child genius yet, I made it so that the title would be misspelled because he is a little kid, and it's cute when little kids misspell stuff when they are trying to look smart by adding letters and all that stuff. so I named it "Hoofeboy". but after I made Lawson smart, I changed it back to "Hoofboy".
But then this chick in my class who liked the story would occasionally send me notes mentioning it. But she would spell it "Hoovesboy:, "Hooveboy" and "Hooverboy". So I eventually came up with the idea that his classmates constantly misspell his nickname like "Hooveboy", and it's very annoying to him.
