i'm lor

my art name is lortay love

my alter ego is ever changing

it depends on my mood

i have a great love and fascination with all types of art from the performing arts to fine art.

however my greatest love is photography (followed closely by music)which has been so since i was 6 years old and got my first camera
--a tiger shsped kid's film camera from boots--
but i was obsessed and even enrolled on an after school photography course, learning at the age of 8 how to develop black and white film.

i guess i did alot of sole searching after school to see who i really was......
the answer finally came to me not so long ago and the resounding answer was a photographer.

i'm now studying A level photography at hartlepool college of further education and i couldn't be happier.
it's a night course, mainly art based and it's for mature students specifically so it's a brilliant work atmosphere and everyone is there through passion for it, not because they have to be!

my aim in life is to be a freelance photographer working within the music bussiness but in reality i love to take photos of everything.

nature also fascinates me though.
it's something i'm extremely passionate about.
i'm fascinated by the every breath taking and miraculous sunrise and sunset which magically lights up the sky with vibrant pinks, oranges and reds,
i love how no flower blossoms the same way as the one before and how the clouds never form the same shape twice.
i even love the beauty of raindrops after a fresh shower of rain
(i even love being out in the rain, the smell, the feel of it on the skin, the reflactions on the ground.... i love the rain more than i love the sunshine)

i guess i just see the beauty in everything.
no matter where i go and what i do i always see something, be it small, that is beautiful enough to photograph.

i can be placed in a dark dim alley way and if my mood is right i will find something beautiful about it

if my mood isn't right, i'll get an interesting dark photo anyway.

i do take photos of other things though, i'm quite versatile. i like interesting structures and buildings, event photography, studio work, make up and costumes and anything else to do with photography.

i even do weddings if requested

so i'm going to put some of the work i'm most proud of up here, i'd very much like your feedback, it would mean alot to me.

Sure can. So would I just get the metro from monument that goes to south hylton, will that take me to pallion?
I'm travelling from north shields, so i'm trying to figure out what time I'd have to leave. How long from town does the metro take to get to pallion? x

yes you can get the south hylton one there :) (Smile) i think it's the stop after millfield (it passes through sunderland) i think it'll take about half an hour to 40 mins :P (Lick) something like that.

that's cool :) (Smile) i have my boyfriend helping with the technical stuff like setting up likes (he's better at that stuff)
maybe could do double shoots with roxy for some shots if i get some ideas during the shoot i'm going to plan out some stuff tomorrow anyway
