I just browsed your gallery, and you've got some good foundations laid down.

Your style of simple detailing and great smooth lines is quite nice. Although some of your work has anatomy proportion issues, if you push your style to the limits I think that they can be a unique factor rather than a hindrance. I would encourage you to press the envelope when it comes to backgrounds and, to a certain extent, compositions; though the simple ones you've been working with work pretty well.
