there is a ska band called five iron frenzy... they have this song called "suckerpunch" and its all about being a dork (i LOVE this song!!!)

heh heh. some of that stuff is just for laughing purposes. only now am i being able to draw with any sort of decency.
what's a state-wide envirothon? is that like a clean sweep or something where you help the environment by picking up trash and stuff? or is it something where you pickett or hold signs that say give us a better water supply, etc? or am i totally off?

It's a compitition in your knowlage of the environment. You know... "What are some of the negative environmental impacts of increased impermiable serface area?" That kind of stuff. I didn't even know what it was when I competed in the county wide one. I don't even have a strong interest in the environment, I mean I care, but not so much as to go into a competition envolving it. But my team won at the county level and we competed at the state level. We are the alternets for the national competition. Weird huh? And all by chance.
