Cool beans! I'm glad they are splitting it into two films. So much time and detail went into this one and it really paid off. It's very close to the book and quite creepy! I think my favorite part is the Tale of the Three Brothers. The shadow pupppet/cartoon sketch is just awesome!

Me too! This one was so much closer to the book than the others . Yeah I really liked the bit with the shadow puppets as well. And the bit when Hermione and Harry were dancing was quite cute and funny. Though I think they ruined it a little with the 'are they going to kiss' moment, I never really got the impression there was anything like that in the book - they were always just friends! And I thought the bit in Malfoy Manor was good also! Their acting has gotten so much better over the years! Ah I need to go watch again...

Yeah, I really liked the dance scene. Harry is such a crappy dancer. His feet cracked me up, but it was cute. To me, that scene was them just trying to forget about the burden of destroying the horcrux and Ron leaving. They're 17 and this huge weight is on their shoulders, so that dance was a sense of escapism. Just as friends, though, I agree. It was a bit awkward when I thought they were going to kiss. I loved Malfoy Manor! Poor Hermione! Emma did some epic acting! I'm glad she's grown out of the eyebrow acting phase. XD I thought Ron should've been a bit more upset when Hermione was being tortured, though. And I wish Wormtail would've died. I'm also looking forward to how they'll incorporate Snape's story in Part 2. That's the best part of the whole series!

Lightning is a much better character than Cloud. Ironic, since the artist that designed her (and the other characters of FFXIII) also designed the characters for FFVII. And his intention was to make a female version of Cloud... (Which does bother me). Anyways, she's a better character. Then again, she's also not a friggin' clone from an alien lifeform like Cloud is. LOL!
Good to see another Lightning/FFXIII enthusiast.

I agree 100%. Lately I've been on a big FFXIII kick. I'm trying to beat my first file 100% through. It's taking quite awhile. XD
