My cat just died I'm upset

Oh no I hope everything ends well! My condolences as I can understand the feeling of losing a pet. I've had a rabbit that meant a real lot to me, his name was angel and I went to three different pet stores until I just knew he was the right one. Like he was very shy and skittish like me at the time when I got him so I really just loved him that much more. I didn't know I was about to get him until Christmas day when I saw a cage my dad bought for the bunny in the living room near the tree and a stuffed neopets bunny plush inside it, along with some basic essentials pet supplies too. I was so happy and cherished every moment with that rabbit. He was my very first pet and everything.Β
But one day I went to a baseball game also my first sports game too.. I guess things came in firsts for me ahaha. I came home and we had burgers my dad bought for me and my little brother for lunch. At the time I wasn't into the whole "eating your veggies" thing and took the lettuce and tomato off to give my rabbit. When I went up to the cage to put it in the veggies he didn't move at all. I was use to my bunny being lazy and laying around comfy with its limbs spread out but this was strange he was laying on his side and I called his name.. Noe response, then I shook the cage a little. I thought he may be sick or something so I told my dad and he told me not to go back down stairs, because bunny passed away and he was putting the rabbit in the box.
This was also my first death experience and and funeral.. Me, my dad, and my little brother all stood outside in the backyard as my dad dug the whole and placed the box in. We stood around and all gave our final goodbyes and told about the great experience we had with the bunny. Like how I petted bunny everyday and loved how the cheeto puff dust got on his face when I gave him cheetos. I remember crying so much but felt so happy too that he was up there in the big barn in the sky hopping freely in the grass with Jesus. We all placed little rose flowers we picked off my backyards rose bush. I remember for the first week visiting the grave everyday and sometimes now when I walk past I'll stop and smile.Β
Angel, my rabbit meant a lot to me and helped me so much grow and I found so much happiness as a person from him. So I totally understand how you can feel upset about your cat and hope you feel better. It gets better with time. :,)

I am really sorry I am really emotional about my rabbit at the moment.. I feel so guilty its been so long since I last thought about him. I just wish I had someone to talk it out with I can see your not interested through clearly. I am just to sad to help at the moment so I hope you don't mind I excuse myself on the matter. Hope things for both of us pick up soon. <3
