in regards to your question, it really would depend on the buyer. if -I- commish'd you I'd let you do whatever, as long as i liked it and you enjoyed doing it , but the entire concept of buying a picture should mean you just draw what the person pays you for, regardless of whether or not you get bored of looking at them.

Heeeeyyyyyy can you do me a huge favor? Can you possibly ask the peeps at UCB if undergrads need to submit an art portfolio as an incoming freshman declaring an art major? UCSD, UCI, and UCD don't need one as far as I know, but UCLA wants one, so I need to know if Berkeley requires it too. :< Please and thank you~

It's the Practice of Art. I tried calling Admissions, but they like, close at 4 pm. And I'm not around at 4 pm to make the call...so I was hoping someone on the Berkeley campus could ask around, or actually go to the office and ask or something. That would be amazing.
I just need to know if a portfolio needs to be due for incoming freshmen undergraduates, and when. I think if I turned one in, it would be during that silly supplement period they have in January. But at least that gives me time to build up crap. Dx If you can find that out...that would be awesomeeeeee. ;A;

you can't apply for practice of art when coming in. you have to go undeclared, finish the prereqs, then apply for the major, which is when you turn in your portfolio o:
if you're doublemajoring, i'm assuming you'd just go with compsci at first, and when you finish the prereqs then go for the art major later

yeah. I think it's because art practice is one of the "impacted" majors, so they make you do the pre-reqs and stuff first. so you can't declare it going in, you have to be "undeclared" or something else, take all the pre-req classes, then apply + turn in your portfolio when you finish your pre-reqs
