Umm, well I guess the main thing is to be active. Uploading many pictures, watching others, faving and commenting on peoples works will give you visibility. Also all these different contests and request things works too :) (Smile)
But it's kinda a slow process. So don't become discouraged if you don't get watchers quickly.
