Welcome everyone!

The Taoistic philosopher Zhuang-Zi once expressed his attitude towards life: "Leap into the boundless and make it your home!" I totally agree and thus chose it as my guiding principle!

Now, Henry Cartier-Bresson aptly provides a link between this Taoistic principle and photography: "Taking photographs (...) is a way of shouting, or freeing oneself, not of proving or asserting one's own originality. It is a way of life."

So, in short, I take pictures because I love to and I love to take pictures because it is a manifestation of a particular simple and sensitive attitude towards life.

I hope you enjoy my photographs as much as I enjoy taking them.

Na ja, ich bin ja auch wieder im kühlen und windigen Nordhessen angekommen (und heute wieder an die Arbeit zurückgekehrt). :) (Smile) Sehr gut hat es mir gefallen, ich war allerdings auch schon zum vierten oder fünften Mal dort und wusste in etwa, was mich erwartet. ;) (Wink) Ich liebe diese Stadt!

Ich neige langsam aber sicher dazu, den Überblick zu verlieren. Dann denke ich mir irgendwann "Hm, von diesem und jenem hat man aber auch schon lange nichts mehr gesehen/gehört". Bis ich dann merke, dass ich schlicht und einfach vergessen habe, denjenigen zu meiner Watchlist hinzuzufügen. ;) (Wink)

Jo, das kenne ich auch. Aber ich muss zugeben, dass man von mir hier auch eher unregelmäßig hört (bzw. neue Fotos sieht) - leider oder zum Glück; das zu beurteilen überlasse ich jedem selbst. :D (Big Grin) Ich stelle immer wieder fest, dass die Zeit zwischendurch doch recht knapp ist... Dieser Umstand lässt sich aber wohl nicht ohne weiteres ändern - zumindest nicht, solange man gerne auch regelmäßig was auf's Konto bekommen möchte. Ist schon verflixt. ;) (Wink)
