She's actually a remarkably sympathetic character, just- an overbearing mother and a bit of a control freak. Her husband is constantly eyeing younger, prettier women (including their only son's love interest). The show is usually abbreviated as "Forum", by the way. It's a musical comedy.

Just finished all of Second nature . . .Loved it read it in two days. Hope there will be more, but I know others have asked you so I wont repeat. Other than to offer my praise at the spectacular in depth characterization and the shining through of Zuko's spirit and grit as a fighter. Truly the best Ive read and Ive read embarrassingly many. I also love asian and medieval waponry are you by chance a scadian? I am but Im a dancer and an archer (well obviously) friend me?

I'm a techie, most times. Costumes and makeup, mostly FX lately. I finished the Cyrano run and am now working on "Into the Woods", which opens in May. Get to make a very pretty lady into a very ugly witch (and back!), and there's a big bad wolf as well. Lots of fun!

Thank you! I actually did manage to make some progress. Not all of the delay is muse-related, however, as my life is simply busier now than it was a year ago. I should have more time available now the holiday rush is over (I hope).

..hi! I just wanted to pop in and say that 'Second Nature' is simply a masterpiece. It's undoubtedly one of the best I've ever ever read and it only seems to get better with every reread. (...though i'm beginning to despair that i'll be doomed to rereading it forever)

While the real world is probably keeping you plenty busy, and an entertaining fanfic writer is doing her readers a favor by writing at all, I cannot help but sadly and perhaps selfishly note that it has been about seven weeks since your last update. Need we, your faithful readers despair?
On a side note, if you haven't done so yet, be sure to read Embers on FF.net. It's very good and occasionally reminds me of Second Nature just a bit and in a good way.
