thanks for the watch and I'd love to hear your advice! The ones I have posted were done with a 2b pencil; I got some higher B's and they're great for darks!

[link] here's my gallery of darks. i reverse the procedure. i lay down charcoal and then lift the picture out with erasers. it's called subtractive drawing. it's messy but quick! and i love the results. they look better in person than copied.

No problem! Your work is amazing, the proportions on all of them are perfect! Do you freehand your drawings? I have to grid whenever I draw people in order to get the proportions accurate

I'm not tracing or something like that if you're meaning that but the pictures I draw are already existing and when I draw my pictures I take a look at them while I'm doing this.

oh thats the same thing I do, except I put a grid over the photo and draw one on my paper, and draw what's in each box, it gets everything in the right spot. For me the initial line drawing is the biggest challenge but the shading is the fun part
