Hi, and welcome to theWrittenRevolution !
There are lots of things you can get involved in:
we post monthly writing prompts (that include prizes, and a chat event during the month to help people with their pieces),
publishing opportunities from other sites (whenever we come across one!),
we have a monthly feature that includes a deserving member, two of the best critiques we've seen during the month, and two helpful writing resources,
a monthly affiliates feature of two Literature groups,
and a biweekly-ish article in which one of our admins gives an in-depth critique to one of our members' work that hasn't received much feedback.
We'll soon be reviving our chatroom with weekly activities, so stay tuned for that too.
We also have Facebook and Twitter accounts. On our profile page you will find links to the latest of all the activities I listed up here and to our social networks that will help you keep updated, so feel free to look around and ask if you have any questions, we're here to help!

It's nothing. Thank you for the tips. Is it too much to ask you to give me some feedback? Because I am experimenting with the stories here I am uploading here (want to try out some new subgenres) and would sure like some constructive critique.

Sure! My standard for critique is that I'll do one novel chapter or a short story up to 5000 words. Unfortunately my workload doesn't allow me to do more. Pick which piece you want me to critique and I'll try to get to it within a few days.
Also, let me know if there's anything you want me to focus on (character, pacing, language, etc.) and if you want me to correct stuff like spelling/grammar or just focus on the story. I see that you're in a writing class, so I'll assume you can handle real critique.Β Β I never give only negatives or only positives.
