seriously,last time we compare the price with my friend at SG, it is at least RM300 cheaper there, new equipment summore. even after convertion.

you converted with online converter? That's how much you can sell RM not buy them. Have to check with those currency exchanger, cause got commission and all, so. Nah, it's not that cheap in SG, plus need transportation fees too... gah >_< Japan still cheapest.

oh no la, when i was at SG 2 months ago we're discussing bout the camera price, my SG friend said it does cheaper and we did a little converting, it is so much different at that time of rate, and even now too.

Haha, everybody's a nikon fan. D8 I see nikon until sien d over here, everybody uses Nikon. I guess that's why it's cheap. Next time when I come back, and if you still want a DSLR, maybe I can get it for you here. Only downside is the charger uses US plug D8

Reason why I got Sony's cause the lens's colour and bokeh's superb, Canon has that yellow tint to it if you're using their standard lens, Nikon's auto-focus a bit complicated cause I don't know why they have AF on body and on the lens. D8 Too high tech for me d. And besides that, Minolta lens! They're old so it's second hand stuff's cheaper. \o/

Haha,i'm not good with SLR at all, just that now my small semi-pro cam cant produce the pic i wanted, so think of getting a bigger one. Have to see parents allowed anot first, afterall its their money. Dx

Well, work part time and buy it? I used my savings from years of ang pao money to buy my kit, then the other lens I used my wages to pay for them when I was working. All I can say is, it's worth the investment. I'm not very good with the camera too, but I did improve a little after playing with it for a while. So until you get the cam or pinjam from someone for a period, you'll never know, you maybe really good at it
