Your noses are blunted and your eyes don't have the usual anime-eye-characteristics (the highlights and the multicolor hues) The proportion of the face as well. O_o No more of the usual anime sharp angles. But then again its just me na no da. XD

umm... can you give me tips or advice (er..i think they are the same thing lol) on how to shade? i feel like my shades are just blobs of paint that tries to act ah...shady lol thanks!

um.. okay. Aah.. not really, thers a lot of stuffs behind shading. One note is: wher's the light? A light source is good to have. Have a flashlight on your drawing table. For light reference to see how the shade appears and how shadow comes in.
Don't just favs nice artworks; study them, and apply. You'll get to learn new things.

i get that part. im more concern with how to make the shade in photoshop look like shades lol. you know there are diff colors of shading since we have diff clothes and tones.
