As for your comment on insane journal, I had planned to write a sequel to it, which is why it's left so open ended. But I never really got the idea going and then I had a bunch of other stories I was working on, so in the end, a sequel to it never happened.

Vlad's going to be Vlad. Conniving, manipulative, flirtatious, but always with a plan in mind. The fact that this plan does not involve killing Jack and stealing Maddie doesn't mean he's no longer 'evil.' I think like all grandeous villains, myself included, he rather enjoys the connotations of the word 'evil.'
