Nice, I remember when I first started out writing. A few days ago, I went back and looked at some of it and thought, "What could I do to improve this?" Because in writing, like a drawn out work of art, there is always space for improvement.

I'm working on finishing 8 whole stories and 3 one-shots possibly more since my mind don't want to focus on just one. I have one on hold because I can't figure anything on it at all writer block.

Wow, a busybody. I know the feeling of working on several different stories. I'm working on a few myself. I feel like I need to go back and completely rewrite one of them though. The grammar is horrible in that one in particular. I also kind of left it at a pretty terrible cliffhanger.

My first story is straight up horrible, second one a little better, third you can actually make it out. Still I'm editing them the best I can then get a beta reader to help me out.

... This is just something I've observed, but when you seem to degrade your own work, or even let people degrade it and let it get to you, then it can impede your ability to improve. A while ago, I found myself in a rut, I couldn't draw or post things for a while, and I thought it was all terrible. Yeah, I think that my older stuff doesn't look all that great, back then I thought it was good, but even then and now I am still proud of it because it gives me insight to how much I've grown as an artist. I would never call it horrible. Try not to say your work is horrible. You created it, you should be proud of it. If you're not a hundred percent proud of it, think about what you can do to it to make it better.

There was this one dude that made me what to just stop completely, but instead I used hisΒ Constructive criticismΒ as way to improve my work. I'm editing since I got better and can still improve.
