I just wanted to say i truly love and adore what you have so far for your vampire nation series. And I know things come up and certainly had to be in order for there to be such a delay on the third book. Is it still anywhere near being done? I just want to make sure the books will still be coming forth.And I would love to at least hear an update or two about it. I felt a bit in the dark about it this year.I almost feared you had dissappeared. D=

Delay's were on the publisher's end. Β Then I went to war with the editors. Β They won. Β Cinnamon should be out soon. Β Check www.slpublishinggroup.com for release dates. Β Already working on Coupage (4) and have a couple more novels in for consideration.

So, in your 2012 entry you said you'd rather have Cinnamon book three ready to go by August 2012? Seriously? It's just you've been plugging Chimera or some other work with snippets on goodreads.com for the last month, and left a bunch of people hanging with promise after promise of the Blood Nation book three release.
Sorry...not buying that the book has been done for a year and it is in editing. If that was my work, I'd demand it back and give it to another editor. Why would I ever buy another series from you when you can't even honor release dates of a current series? So, no thanks not interested in any more of your work. Not the only person either. I know this may sound harsh, but this waiting month after month is ridiculous. Then you are trying to get people interested in other work? At least finish what you start or let readers know that you have NO intention of honoring completion of the series.

I'm pissed but I signed a contract. Things are moving forward again. Part of this is my fault because I was excited when I was given a date. I passed it on and when situations didn't pan out everyone was mad. So I will make no promises about release dates. All I can say is that things are in the editing machine.
After working alone or with betas, professional editors are kicking the crap out of me which means I need to improve my basic skills. SLPG wants to provide a superior product and I want the best of my ability out there as well. It's taking time.
As for despising me, so be it. You're opinion stings but my writing life will continue.

How does Cake from Blood Nation compare to Cake from the Lord Emperor Vampire Saga?

There is probably about a 30,000 word difference. The original opening has changed to lay out the introduction to our little red headed vampire. Grammar has vastly improved. I cannot emphasize how vast! Also, Cake was cut into two books; Cake and Cinder. This allowed me time and space to expand on the emotional, physical well being and start a better defining of the emergence of the brotherhood. I do believe I have added three more chapters to Cinder.

I don't know, I don't know. I'd rather have Cinnamon (bk3) ready to go by august and therefore Yaoi-con.
Started up a new story over on AFF.net called Trophy. I'm trying shorter chapters. That seems to be the trend of yaoi novels. We'll see if that works for me.
