ohk. We are doing creative responses to cultural lectures. We had a lecture on muslims in the film industry, and they were talking about the veil etc.
so i got to thinking, well everyone uses a veil to hide things, its just a different veil for different people, and alot of people tend to hide behind their friends etc...
so what i want to do is videotape someone crying in abedroom somewhat beaten up and bruised, they then go into the bathroom and make their face up, hide the evidence etc, then the chuck on a jacket and walk down the street, buy a chocolate, keep walking, meet their friends then get happy and laughing....(you know how sobbing and laughing sometime sounds the same, i want that kinda laugh, and that kinda crying at the start).
then i will reverse the film so it starts with her laughing in normal time, then speeds up to her going home, and ends on normal time with her sobbing sounding the same...
what do you think?
