# About me

I am a digital artist and graphic designer who specializes in photomanipulations, photography, and creative typography. I am also a published writer. I am influenced by surrealism, the collective unconscious, postmodern graphic design, and color meanings. Inspiring artwork are Jerry Uuelsmann's photomontage creations, Stefan Sagmeister's live type, and Vincent Van Gogh's use of color meaning and slightly skewed perspective. Many of the pieces presented here that are more manipulated will be used in the visual books I am creating, which are for a twenty-something-year-old target audience. Other pieces are commercial or for fun

I have been on deviantart for a while with a forgotten account.

Soon, I will have a website that contains a page to purchase art.

Actually, I moved to richmond about 2 months ago. I love it here. And yea, this place is pretty hit or miss. I just like it because there is a pretty substantial film photography community on here that i enjoy following.

Yeah I have had technical issues with my account. Also another problem is that a lot of these groups have weird criteria to submit. (Such as how you HAVE to use DA stock...has to be PG, etc.) I don't want things to be so dang complicated...lol. I DO enjoy looking at other people's art though.

Richmond most be awesome!!! What are you doing there?

Community college is such a great deal. I went to a community college in charlottesville for two and a half years. I also worked at a bookstore, and loved it, but the pay was looowww. :) (Smile)

Richmond is great! I'm taking as many classes as i can afford at the community college here. Rooming with an old friend. Workign at Barnes & Noble. Its pretty fun..i'm poor as hell. But its fun. haha. What have you been doing?

Awesome! Yeah I had an account many years ago but I deleted it. Turns out DA isn't the place for writing...but I'm thinking it will be better for art.
