you are close! it's what i like to call digital collage, i scanned in the people and used a photograph for the background so i guess you could call it mixed

Eh, I'd call it more of a digital collage. But the way you sliced out the eyes, created discoloration in the background, along with some of the added pictures reminded me of a mixed media piece. Some of the added colors were a dead give away it wasn't mixed media, but it's still an excellent piece, you know?

I don't know what kind of world this is now that Dr. Gonzo is no longer living in. It's a kind of world where conservatives have taken over and a world where the insight of others is the same thing over and over again...
Oh yeah, and a world where Michael Jackson will become the next O.J. Simpson.
It's a real shame that he died... The guy was brillant and lead a fantastic life that only the truly brave could lead... I just hope sometime in the near future there will be another Hunter S. Thompson to provide the human race with real actual insight on the world today.

Well, last week I was on death's door step courtesy of that new flu that's going around and I couldn't call you because well... I sounded awful and I was coughing a lot too.
I've also had trouble coming up with nice long comments for other people's works too, so that explains why I haven't been commenting either.
I also can't make a mixtape to save my ass right now either, so that explains why I haven't written a letter in so long.
I tried calling today too, but you weren't around. Oh yeah and congrats on your new job! Now you can afford the luxuries of life along with the neccesities! Likewise on the computer, now you can finally do art and what not!
Note me sometime on when I can call you, I've got some stuff worth talking to you about!

I'm alright. I just got back awhile ago from yet another terrible CoC gaming session with my horrible group that turned into a horrible DnD session. As of tonight, I'm officially quitting that damn group and maybe set up my gaming group with the players who want some order to their games. I'm telling you, Lan. That group is just no fun... Thank god I'm getting out of that hellish group.
But dude, I miss you so much! How's your computer situation doing and more importantly is it possible to call you and if I can, when? I have so much to talk to you about and what not! I still have your new number too by the way...

Decided to check out your art and offer some of that constructive criticism you can't get enough of! But first i'll get the praise out of the way -
I love your pixel art... would work great in a mini-video game. Get in touch with some programmers and see if you can't collaborate something!
I also love your Posse series, but i already posted on the Donny Darko one. Was wondering if it was Anthrax inspired after all...
Now, your landscape photos are mostly good - nice color, contrast and angles, but a couple are pretty monotonous, being pictures of that barely rolling countryside only a cowboy could love. Your people photos could use some work - your best angles are the ones you set up for your father to take (who ended up messing up the focus a bit, but what can you do?)
There's an obvious progression in your artwork, and one can only expect it to get better. At 16 you're already good, so imagine where you can go.
