Hey, thanks for all the comments and the fav. I use graphite, jet black extra smooth is what it says on the pencil. It takes a while but it will get that black if you keep going over the same area. I used to use charcoal until I ran out and then I moved away from the store i got it from. So I had to choose a different medium. Graphite didn't seem too bad, so I tried it out, and I've been using it ever since.
