Sorry for the late reply. So busy with work, I haven't got any time to check my Deviant Art page.

To answer your query; I don't think they have a distributor here in the Philippines. I've bought mine on Ebay. Cost me around Php 25k+, including the customs tax.

If you don't have any experience buying online, I suggest the following:

1. Research the seller thoroughly. Check his / her profile and reviews.
2. If that seller checks out, do not worry, your item will arrive. It's understandable that first time online buyers will be afraid of these transactions. But it will arrive. The key here is patience. FYI, the Yiynova Tablet Monitor was my first online transaction.
3. If it's from the US or UK, it'll usually take 10 working days or 2-4 weeks for the item to arrive.
4. Also, you'll have to pay a ridiculous amount of tax at the customs when you pick your item. You'll have to wait as well. I've waited for 5 hours.

Philippine customs... (sigh...) I want to buy a tablet from abroad, but then I'm not so sure if it's a good idea. How much is shipping for something like a tablet? Will it make the price go up significantly?

Depends on the item. Shipping fee is indicated on Ebay or any other online store.
