Sorry, I've been rather busy of late and haven't had as much time as I thought I would to dedicate to the update. However, I think I have everything where I want it so hopefully I will be able to release the update tomorrow. Just a few minor things to follow up and then its ready.

New Hope is amazing theme but there is one thing... could you merge AwoKen toolbar buttons with Faenza-Dark-Black icon set or give some instructions how to do this?

The Divergence theme "A New Hope" rocks! But erm where is the bmp/xmms/winamp-style theme? Or at least a link to it from the main theme page? Thanks for making and sharing such an awesome theme!

Did you like the updates? The dark panel is causing me endless grief right now... Older gnome-panels seem to hate it.

Oh... one other thing I forgot. The appearance preferences window. The selection widget around the theme could be more stylish. I'm pretty sure that is the iconview widget...
And one thing I wanted to ask you as well: do you know any tricks/tips/resources/programs to find the names of specific widgets of specific programs?

I will look into the iconview widget, thanks for your suggestion .
For widget names and paths, i use a combination of the experience engine (it has a tool that prints them), the gtk reference manual and reading some source code when all else fails. Before i found out about the trick with the experience engine, i was constantly reading the source code, you can imagine how much fun i had when i was trying to make Evolution look good with Azel...

First up... the installer / customisation python script is absolutely beautiful. Do you mind if I use a modified version for the next update of A-New-Hope? My python skills aren't good enough to write my own, hence my simple bash/zenity script, lol...
++ On including my suggestion for having a squarer tab option. The new light tabs look superb as well!
I can't test for older gnome-panel as I'm on Maverick. The dark panel seems to work fine for me however. What I would suggest is: rather than have options for light and dark menus; the dark panel should have dark menus by default, but only for the panel - the other menus should remain light. The dark menus with light menubars looks a little strange, as does light menus with a dark panel. Only a minor annoyance though!
Short window gradient is excellent. Makes the windows a little less "over-exposed" if you get what I mean. Which is better for dimmer rooms. I find slightly darker windows are a little easier on the eyes in less well lit rooms. An excellent additional option.
Good work on the transparent pixmaps. Being able to change the window colour is really nice. Seems to work fine as far as I can tell so far. This goes with the previous point about lighter and darker rooms. Excellent!
And finally, loving the metacity. Really really nice. I'm not sure yet if the buttons are a little too small for my taste, but that might also have something to do with the font size I use.
Overall, a truly professionally and excellent update. Now I feel like I've got to really up my game, lol

Thanks for your detailed answer . Of course you can use the python script, no reason to even ask about it, it's gpl after all . I do warn you that it's a hackjob though as i don't know the first thing about python (i mainly code in c), a friend of mine that actually knows python has promissed to rewrite it sometime in the feature, so one can only hope...
About same color in panel and panel menus, most menus have the same top level so it's hard to differentiate between panel and regular menus in widget matching. In some cases it's just impossible.
The metacity buttons only look small, they are in truth some of the biggest you will find (21x21). I just like a minimalistic look especially on the decorator, not to mention that bigger buttons would make the etched in effect look a little too much .
As for upping your game, as i see it you are already at the top. Originality is hard to come by these days, but you my friend are the exception. The ayatana guys should really take notes from you about how earthly colors are properly implemented to a theme. No cheese mac style progressbars, scrollbars and buttons, a contrast that enables the user to look at his screen for hours without his eyes getting tired and a unique look that doesn't resemble anything else out there. The nautilus styles are also amazing, with their 3d look as is the all transparent terminal. In conclusion, your theme simply rocks as it is, but if you manage to improve on perfection, well, kudos to you
