Wow, Mother Nature is just giving the Philippines a break huh. I'm glad you're ok. How badly was Cebu damaged?
I sponsor a girl in Tagbilaran City and have not heard from her - do you know badly that city was damaged?

yeah.. totally... northern part of Cebu is badly damaged.. a lot of families lost their house and no food and water.. no electricity. people here in Cebu City are still doing relief operations. helping our fellow Filipinos.. It's just so sad to hear that our f*cking government is so slow in responding to calamities like this.. it really breaks my heart.

In fairness for the Philippine government - there is a massive amount of damage. They have a lot of area to help and not enough to go around. There is help coming from all around the world but no one that knows how to coordinate it. I know the U.S. is sending a massive amount of help including an air craft carrier that will help distribute food and help using the helicopters on-board.
Hopefully, some coordination starts happening and help starts getting to the right places.
