The horn was blown by the enemy to signify that breach of the Basteel was done, victory was soon at hand. It had been five days of violence and bloodshed and now it was night of the fifth day. “Do you hear that Mr. Nest? That is the sound of you and your comrades impending doom” said General Bane. They had fought for four days, each of them sweaty along with the mortal wounds to show it. Mobis-New-Nest ignored General Bane’s remark, he was more worried about what had become of his comrades. He could tell from where he was fighting the walls of Basteel were breached with still a few soldiers climbing over. All he could hope that his comrades were still alive.
Meanwhile at court yard Mobis comrades also known as team gratitude continued their defence from onslaught of General Bane’s soldiers. Each of them felt fatigue take its course, they had fought for nearly five days without rest. Baltheir the leader of group knew the battle was lost and soon they would begin to die, one by one; with so many soldiers around them and every time they slew one, two more would take their place. Just then he remembered what the white wizard had said to him before he left to get aid for their cause. ‘On the light of the fifth day look to the east’ and it was fifth day and just a few minutes before dawn would approach, suddenly everyone from friend to foe was distracted by the white pillar of light that was shining up towards the heavens in a distance hill from the Basteel. As the sun rose in the east far in the distant hill Gandalf the White atop his noble white steed looked at the smoke that rose from the Basteel. Behind the white wizard came hundreds of warrior’s with golden helms and shields. A large letter ‘G’ in crimson red was engraved into their shields. It symbolized the gratitude, the very reason they stood for, the honor of ‘Thanks for the fave’. A lone soldier stood forth “SPARTANS! FOR THE GLORY OF THE FAVE!” he shouted. Gandalf the white raised his ivory staff in the air and beam of light gleamed up in pillar. He kicked his steed forward and the hundreds of Spartan warriors followed after him quickly as their battle cry could be heard thundering toward the Basteel. “Do you hear that General Bane? That’s the sound of hope, the sound of your impending doom” said Mobis as he grinned.
