# About me

Hi! I like to create art that is encouraging and fun to look at. I especially hope my art encourages someone who is having a rough day, week, or season of life. I went through such a time myself and didn't draw anything regularly for months. What caused me to snap out of it? I realized that what I had been through and what I had learned through it could be of help to others. Now I'm drawing things that make me smile with the hope that it will make you smile as well!

I've been a longtime fan of Deviant art and now I'm finally joining! I work in Photoshop CS3 mostly. Its by far my favorite medium, although sometimes charcoal on paper can't be beat for drawing things out. Illustrating is my passion. I look to children's books, comics and illustrators like James Gurney and NC Wyeth for inspiration. More paintings and drawings to come!
