well, this is strictly just my opinion and I can see most people that commented really liked it which obviously shows you have talent.
As far as the music/beat/melody goes it's nice to listen, it sounds great.
As far as the lyrics go/audio, it blends in too well I can't really understand what you're singing about, I'm sure the lyrics are meaningful, I just can't understand them and maybe I'm the only one having this problem.
I have no idea how to fix that but as a suggestion maybe a different mic or recording software, lowering the volume of the music so you can hear your voice over it.
It just blends so well together it all sounds like one thing which if that's what you were going for then you did an absolutely wonderful job.
just my preference is I like to hear the music and the lyrics as two separate things and be able to enjoy both for what they are, however, I am not the average person I know a lot of people that like songs just based on how they sound and have no idea what the song is even about. Me I can't do I want to feel, relate and understand what the artist is trying to portray within their medium.
But that's just me, follow your own style, make the music you want to make, and always try to improve any way you can.

Yeah, in older music, I used to mix the vocals a lot higher, but it sounded jaring to me.
I did listen back though, I didn't have the same problem you did. Maybe because I wrote everything, but I was able to understand what I was saying, save for a couple background vocals I sprinkled around.

The second time I could better understand the lyrics, i still really like the music , my friend thought it was okay, but yeah just keep working at find where your comfortable in your music and just hammer it till its the way you want it
