I was born there too and all my family (except my kids) are from there. I'd love to go back, but unless the economy changes drastically, I'm not seeing it any time soon. I would have loved to have taken my kids there as it's such a big part of their heritage and culture as I'm very "British" (their other half is Norwegian) You should definitely try to go if you ever can.
