Well...you could write a journal that you open commissions and make slots. For example you're making commissions with 3 slots available. Once all of it taken, you finish the 3 commissions and then when you're ready open the 3 slots again. That way you can manage how many commissions you want to do.
Btw don't use the commission widget. Instead I'm using it as a display for how many the cost is. Then I put my journal commission on it and write the rules XD. You can see it on my DA page.

What should I even charge for my commissions? What should I do? I don't think my art is really worth as much as most people charge commissions for...

For price though, I think it should no more than 100-200 points. Why? Cause I've opened commissions before and make the price more than 100 points. Hardly anyone commissioned me. But when I lower it around 100 points and below, one by one people start to commissions me. So I think for starters, try open commissions with cheap price then when more people commissions you try higher it though not too much. Although this is just my advice from my experience.
People could pay you through paypal or points. Though I think many use points. You could open for them both though.
For satisfaction though, it's common for artist not to satisfy with their own art. Sometimes I feel that too XD. But if we don't satisfy with our own art, it wouldn't be finish. If I commission you and you finish with it and post it, I definitely be satisfy with it

Okay, you know what, I am going to give this a test try.. to see how it works out. Cause I was selling ocs, for 10-15 pts. I only managed to get two sold but it was a start. However, I don't really know anyone. Not too many people linger around my page, and seem to be TOO interested in my stuff though there are a few.Β
In this test run, with you, I will try it out for free, if you will allow me. Then see how I can do for time, and quality. Is this ok with you?
