Hi, im Derek. i draw, paint a little, and am BIG with photography.and also i have a beard so that automatically makes me a bad ass.
i have taken well over 1000 artistic photos and lost 90% of them due to catastrophic system failure.... in other words i wiped my computer with out backing it up.
so now i get to redo alllllll my work! -sigh-

iv probably taken 2000 photos... in the past few years. and only 60ihs has met my standards for the public eye XD hahaha

i know the feeling. My first camera was a Kodak Easy Share. It took decent photos so I won't complain. The photos I took from that camera are some of the first ones before my literature I've written on my gallery. You can actually tell which ones are from which camera when the photos started to look better. I am in love with the camera I have know and I don't think I will ever give it up. well maybe if they make a phone with the same settings that my Nikon D3100 has, then maybe, just maybe.

well its all personal preference really, its there if you want people alter/ use your works for there own. i don't really get involved in it cause of someone wants to use my work they can contact me personally and what not. lol
