do you have an ounce of traditional art in you, i'm glad vector art is accessible but it can lead to very pretentious things.

When it comes to vector portraiture, there are many different approaches possible; some are style-based, some are photo-realistic and some lack any real direction at all. Overall, ~i-rembrat 's approach is fairly dynamic, unifying and stylish. I can confidently say that anyone with a good,yet general knowledge of traditional art would recognize ~i-rembrat 's well developed composition and rendering skills. Unfortunately, some people can't see past the fact that vector portraiture is digital art and that it's usually referenced from a photo, these people just dismiss the style and the skill because they don't know better. Vector programs are just tools, just like a paint brush. Regardless what media you use, you have to master your tools and incorporate style if you're going to shine, which is exactly what he's doing.
