Kennesaw, but same place I've basically been in the entire time. But we're moving a little farther north, still within driving distance of Atlanta easily.

I'm working for Best Buy now, I'm about to go open a new store in a town that's never had one before. It's actually a pretty big deal.

Sounds like it... that's awesome! I was working at a bakery for a couple months back home. The owner and manager are going to provide me references if I need them. Which I probably will because I'm about to start the job hunt here.

My settlement money is not going to go far after I furnish my house. I'm going to bargain shop as much as possible. I can't wait to move in... I'm going to get a new queen size bed (awfully tired of having a twin) and I'll have my computer set up again. Should be awesome even if I do end up broke again.

I'm going to invest 4 to 5 thousand but I don't know how much will be left after I buy the things I really need. I do plan to live off of whatever money I make from a job rather than the remaining settlement money.

well, after I came to see you guys I went back to school for a year. I went to California and stayed with @yashachan the next summer for a few weeks, then somehow managed to get on a Law course at university. I'm in the final year of that now, which is why I have been more or less dead on the internets for... well, years!

Thing is, I don't like the course at all, but I figured a Law degree's a nice thing to have... so I've pressed on with it anyway. When I'm out I'll finally get to do something I actually like! I'm a bit tired of the whole education dealio now though, god I think 18 years of it is enough! I've been working at Apple since last summer so I suppose I'll do some more hours there once uni's over....hmm... and do lots more drawing and animating when I don't have bloody Law to think bout anymore!

Wow that sounds a lot more productive than my time.

I've had a lot of bad luck and little bit of good luck to make up for it. I did just sign a 1 year lease on a really nice house near the university. I move on Sunday. Other than that I've spent most of the past year renting a room from my friend Nick. Annnd doing a lot of drinking and partying. Tis time to settle down though. I just got a big chunk of money from a settlement from last year's car accident (wasn't my fault and the kid tried to blame me so I hired an attorney). And now I have enough money to pay off my debts, rent and furnish a house.

I was hoping to have some money to save for school and emergencies but I don't know how much I'll have left. Expensive fucking house. I'm going to be subletting to roomies. But I get the master bed/bath which is awesome.

Are you going to do anything with the Law degree?

Don't think so, I'm tired of the whole thing already, and it's not even done yet! I guess having a law degree to fall back on just seems like a nice contingency plan, got no real interest in it... well intellectual property I like, but that's just one of many things I have to study. Damn it's boring stuff. And I'm surrounded by boring people too, which just makes me want to get out of here faster!
