Well I WAS writing a short story about a town founded by a war-bride, but twenty pages of work just got eaten by the wordpad!
[pouts and cries a little]
Now I will have to try to recreate it from memory, so it may take a month or so.
Short version; after WWII a brittish woman finds that her American soldier husband is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (although they had a diferent term for it back then). How-ever she is apaulled to find that that is treated as a 'dirty little secret'.
So she seeks out some of the most radical psychological pioneers of the time and founds a town in middle-of-no-where Neveda to treat her husband and other service-men from US, UK, etc.
The entire town slowly evolves into a CFNM community ; the soldiers can decompress in a radically different environment and the womn developt an attitude of extreme protectiveness of 'their boys'.
