yup yup born and raised in good ol' massachusetts. Lots of girls swinging axes and what not. You DO hear a lot of ghost stories growing up...though I haven't lived any. I go to school in Amherst and there is this really old cemetary that always creeps me out....emily dickinson is buried there. The town of Amherst is also named after the man who exterminated native americans with smallpox - the start of biological warfare - what a warm and pleasant state I live in. stop on by any old time :) (Smile)

thank you very much for such an indepth comment on Because porn stars arent fat
that was my first draft, so it had a lot of flaws, i agree that i ended it too quickly, but i dont really think theres a graceful way to end the interaction between her and the therapist. if i were to end it with more dialogue it would seem to drag on.
once again thank you for your advice, ive been sitting around basking in the compliments yet fearing of when people will notice the loose threads and holes, so your honesty is very much appreciated

I am now a critic for ~WeCritique and I have had a critique from :o (Eek) newordatatime: so I highly recommend either of them to get insight on your work.

Otherwise, I would suggest, if you are a prose writer, seek out other prose writers and comment on their prose. This is the best way to get others to come look at yours and comment.

~onewordatatime and ~suture have excellant articles on writing as well.

Just wanted to offer you a little word of advice.. do with it what you will...

posting things like "come look at my work and help me improve" on the forums is considered Spam Spam Spam Spam Spam and will in general be ignored.

The best way to get comments and critiques on your work, is to comment on others works.

There are also a couple of places that offer to critique your work, if you simply let them know

here are the two I know of, go to their pages, they don't mind what others consider Spam Spam Spam Spam Spam at all, in fact, they ask for it... and they are pretty good at what they do...
