To make something your DeviantID, you need to submit the picture to dA under the DeviantID category. This category can be found under deviantART related >> deviantID when choosing your submission category.

If you want to something, all you have to do is find it on deviantART and click 'Add to Favourites' on the left-hand column. Once you are more comfortable with the layout, you can set up folders in your Favourites and add deviations to them directly. If you want to know how to do that, don't hesitate to ask.
