Sani, who had been listening to her while hidden in shadowform, had unconciously begun to hum along best she could, although she wasn't nearly as good as the human she'd stumbled upon, and she didn't know the song all that well. She tilted her head when she noticed the other had stopped, her now light grey eyes giving off a dull shine which she hoped wouldn't be noticeable in the darkness surrounding her. "Please tell me she didn't see me, please tell me she didn't see me..." she thought.

Yeah, but I don't really have a favorite singer. Not much bands either. The only bands I like are Owl City and Nickelback, my top favorite is Deadmau5 but he doesn't qualify as either one.

He was listening to her quietly, somehow ending up hearing her music. He was captivated by her beautiful voice and looks--as usual he had hearts in his eyes for this new pretty girl. He wondered who she was, but didn't want to interrupt her singing. He heard her voice go quiet and blinked in surprise, coming slowly from behind the place he was standing and waving, "Hey there! Sorry if I startled ya--" He said. "Couldn't help but not notice that nice singing of yours!" He added quickly.

It was a common tick for someone like her to be paranoid, about the possibility of someone listening. Even in the privacy of her own home, the feeling never went away. Being the kind of person who kept certain talents hidden from the world, what little had been lucky enough to listen to that angelic voice were the type of people that got her horribly flustered.
Mainly due to the excessive compliments on how she sounded.
Just as the paranoia faded, it returned upon noticing a blonde slowly slinking out from his hiding place. The brunette quietly shrunk in place, averting her gaze from the other trying not to melt in a puddle realizing yet another person had hear her sing. Rarely did she sing out in the open. Guess she should have sang a little more quietly, in case there was someone nearby.
"T-T-T-Thank, you. N-No you didn't startle me I'm- sorry if I disturbed you."
Blaming herself for interrupting the other, and whatever he might have been doing, she kept her gaze averted. A dusting of rosy pink decorating those pale cheeks of her's.

The last snipit of her sentence came off a series of quiet mumbles, that trailed off before going completely silent. Finally shifting a pair of hazel optics back in his direction, adjusting her posture when he continued speaking she nervously picked at some lose bits of fabric on her wristband.
"You have a band? I, didn't know what was still a thing for some people."
Trying to unbuckle herself from that timid nature, despite being a little tense around new people she managed to smile when he gave out his name to her.
"A-Archie. I haven't heard a name like that before, it's a pleasure to met you!"

He laughed, "Really? I woulda thought you were famous or something. Yeah, we don't play that much these days anyway." He said. "Nice to meet you too, whats your name?" He asked.

She couldn't help but laugh with him. She might have a petty voice yes, but fame was something she never dreamed of having. Or obtaining for that matter, even attempting to be on one of those TV shows where people sang their way to Hollwood.
"O-Oh no no, popularity is waaay beyond my reach. But, that's sweet of you to say that."
Pearly whites broke the surface of her smile, but only for a moment as it reverted to a casual smile.
"Eileen. My name's Eileen. I-I just noticed, you have two different names. Archie, and Andrew. If you get rid of the S that is."
She chuckled softly.

He felt happier for her now she seemed to be relaxing a bit around him. "Really?" He didn't believe her--her voice was top quality after all. Something not really heard of in this day in age whereas all the music revolved around stupid things. "Eileen, huh? Thats a beautiful name!" He grinned. "Haha! Thats true! I do have a few other nicknames too~" He ran his fingers through his hair.

It was a bit surprising she hadn't hit some kind of music industry, given how angelic her voice sounded even at a the pitch she'd sung with earlier. But again, popularity was the last thing to come to mind for her. In all honesty; she wouldn't be able to stand all the attention from fans and admirers. It'd be flattering at first, but after a while she'd struggle to get some alone time without someone asking for her autograph every two seconds.
Laughter turned into soft giggling, feeling her cheeks grow even warmer at his compliment.
"Y-You're just full of compliments today aren't you? I-I'll give you credit for that, a-and actually pronouncing it right on the first try."
She stepped closer to him, beginning to unwind a little more the longer they communicated.
"Well, I-I think Archie suits you better. Manly because it sounds more, f-fancy so to speak."

He said quickly after that, trying not to scare her off by being too forward.

Another giggle was restrained by a rather quiet, undignified snort. Oh boy, unless he was doing this to get some kind of reaction it was certainly working. She'd probably be throwing similar words back at him, but flirting had never been something she did on a regular basis. And honestly, the poor woman sucked at it.
She scoffed, looking away once again to ignore the glowing blush that kept responding to all this attention.
"Oh stop it. I-I'm nothing to gander at. But I could say the same to you, not e-everyday some guy walks up and compliments me like that."
Blinking her optics at him, when he inquired wanting to met her somewhere she continued.
"S-Sure, I wouldn't mind that."

Archie grinned a bit wider, having one of those moments where he was feeling really happy. Seems like he made a new friend already.
"Haha! Well, at least you didn't think I was some creepy guy, right?" He joked. "Really? I'm glad then!" He took out his phone and tapped the edge of it as he mustered up the courage to ask her for her cell. "Ah, we probably would need to exchange numbers to keep up, right?" He asked nervously.

She teased, flashing the blonde a semi-playful look knowing how he kinda stepped out of the shadows to compliment how she sounded. Fingers looped around the corners of her jean pockets, noticing the small device he held in his hand before getting the idea.
Oh yes, of course. Reaching into one, retrieving a rather old-fashioned flip-phone she smiled again.
"R-Right. Sorry, I normally don't give out my number to people. Heck, I hardly use my phone at all. B-But I'll happily give my number to you anyway for further communication."

He grinned as he admired the uniqueness of the phone. He just had a regular iphone, "Well, I'll only call you when necessary then!" He said, "But maybe sometimes when its not~" He said, putting her number. "So miss Eileen, why dont you continue singing? I feel bad I interrupted you now!"

The brunette didn't care much for today's modern day technology with phones. Touch screens, Wi-Fi, assortments of different apps, they never appealed to her. Besides, why get a phone that has internet when you had a computer?
Imputing the blonde's number in her contact list, double checking to make sure she made the correct number her gaze quickly jerked back at him when asked about singing again.
Almost immediately, the woman began shrinking in her place again, returning to that timid state as he'd seen her with before when they first met.
"D-Don't, I-It's okay. I- I don't really sing in front of people that much."
She mumbled quietly, trying not to break eye contact with him.

She didn't consider herself much of a shy person, unless it involved someone hearing her vocals and compliments about them. Other than that, she tried to be openly social despite the struggle at times finding topics and certain things to communicate about.
"Y-Yeah, it's mostly just something I'm not use to. I-I mean- I can but; it just takes a lot of courage for me to do so."
