Yay, I'm glad you liked it! ^___^ I was later than usual sending my cards out this year because of the penguins and cats pictures I had to get finished before Christmas. Hope your Christmas was good! <3

I was late with everything. The company I ordered my gifts from took way too long to make them and I showed up with IOU's to all my xmas celebrations. It was actually really upsetting to me. But! I have a present for you, if you can hold off buying a 2014 calendar for a week or so...

That sucks! I hate when that happens! But yay :-D this is actually the first time in 3-4 years I didn't make my own calendar or buy one :-D

Wow, you have really interesting pieces of art here, your coloring is so beautiful! I wish I could do that. You focus a lot on animals, are they easy for you to draw?

Thanks! The digital coloring (only 2 of them) I did in Corel Painter 11 and Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator...most of the other things I cut out of colored paper (so I didn't actually have to color them, ha). I do find animals easy to draw...much much easier than people, I wish I could draw people as well as you! I also envy how quickly you can draw things. I take forever to finish anything. ^__^

Haha! Thanks for the complement! I wish I was as computer savvy at art as you, it'd make my life a heck of a lot easier, but having to spend time cutting them out is tons of dedication, kudos!

I didn't learn how to do any art on the computer until after college, so I think that's just a matter that I've had more time to learn it...if you get a chance to take any classes in school for digital art I really recommend it, I think you'd pick it up fast. I actually prefer to do things not on the computer, but its nice to have the option to do things both ways, especially for editing.

Yeah, I prefer using traditional style, but everything that's related to art now a days is on a tablet or computer, so I'm scared that if I ever was allowed to go to an art school I'd be the odd one out

It is getting more and more popular but I think good art schools still have a very high respect for traditional art, so you shouldn't have a problem....Just don't pass over the chance to learn if it comes along, because it will make getting an art related job much easier if that is something you are interested in.

It was so good to see you at Yaoi con! Lol sorry I was SUCH a mouth breather when I met you. Sleep deprivation combined with sugar and excitement does funny things to my brain. And apparently the speed in which I talk. I swear Iām normally much more chill lol

Thanks for the +watch!!
It took me a while to realize it was you, skyrat. Your art is surprisingly nice. They look really calm and I like the colors (hahahah, I need someone to teach me how to color). I'm gonna friend you back so I can see more of those sketches.

Hey, thank you!
(Sorry I don't check in here very frequently, so it took me a while to notice your comment.)
I actually didn't color very many of my pieces, because the majority of them are cut out of colored paper. When I do color things I tend to gravitate towards watercolors....but overall I find working with paper the most fun.
You should experiment coloring your drawings in a program like photoshop...then you can keep the original black and white versions, but also make a color copy. There are a lot of really cool options with that!
(Although my taste runs very old school, I often prefer black and white versions to colored, so I don't actually think it's necessary to bother unless you're really interested in that. Your drawings looked really nice as they were ^___^)

I have to admit... most of the stuff I have posted here was done between 2004-2006. Hopefully I will stop being lazy and get back to working like this.
...
The majorty of the photography was actually taken by my dad and sister (except for the coyote.) I mainly uploaded it here so that I could order prints.
