I'm ok with drawing abstract designs. I like photography. It's been many years since I created this account and drew something. In 1992, Hurrican Andrew in Miami, Florida, destroyed all of my artwork and since then it's been difficult to create artwork. I pick up a pencil and just stare at the paper. Artist's block, I guess.
I returned to DeviantArt to find inspiration and to find a medium I would like to learn to use. If you have any ideas of what I can use to start drawing again, please send me a message. Colored pencils, water color, acrylic paint, (how do you do mixed media), (how do you do digital artwork), etc. I am open to ideas. I would like to create a tarot deck , but not sure what medium to use.
Thank you for visiting!

Hey there.
Realized that yesterday after I gave you that username, I haven't updated here in a loooong time hehe. The connection was working too slow with basic cable, and I had a lot of stuff to upload at once. I've had an alternative, highly lazy blog for a bit if you want to check that out. The topmost picture is oil pastel on wood, which is what I am mostly doing now.

You have a great eye for the abstract, and you're right - the colors are very vivid; it really adds to the piece.

I've always liked to draw. I was very proud of the drawings I had made, until Hurricane Andrew in 1992, damaged ALL of my drawings and watercolor paintings. My focus from art/drawing was shifted afterwards towards engineering and computer sciences after my mom said "Art is a hobby; it is not a career."
For several years I did not draw or do anything related to art; simply because I did not have the time. Now, I miss it and would like to get back into it. So much has changed since then; so much technology. For now, I enjoy traditional art with my drawings. I also do 3D Decoupage, but am not sure how to go about finding the multiple prints I need (since most printing companies only want to sell to retailers) as well as how to "take a picture of it" and post it here. Hmm, maybe I can buy my prints from Deviantart members
If you have any suggestions for the following, I would greatly appreciate it:
1) What do you use to take a picture of your artwork? Do you use a digital camera? If so, what digital camera do you recommend; I'm willing to invest in one.
2) Where can I find a store or person who can sell me prints in bulk? Depending on the print, I may be interested in purchasing from 5+ prints.
