that was made using a program called Walfas, it's made for making Touhou comics, most use it for humorous 4 panel comics, this is the only time i used it, as i made it on computer that wasn't mine (because i didn't have one yet)

Touhou Project (the full title) is a series of games and mangas (no anime tie ins) that only released in Japan. it's about the isolated region known as Gensokyo, contained by a barrier meant to keep the residents of Gensokyo in, and outsiders out, humans and youkai live in this place, one human stands out from the rest, Hakurei Reimu the red white Shrine Maiden of Paradise, Gensokyo's protector, she won't kill, but she is a peacekeeper with the power to manipulate borders and her priest training she has thwarted various threats to maintain peace, if something strange is happening in Gensokyo count on Reimu to be there, this lazy short tempered shrine maiden resides in the Hakurei Shrine where her ancestors before her guide her and she practices her techniques, but nonetheless, she'll be wherever she is needed with her holy power giving her flight and various other techniques

the series is known here in america for its music

here is Reimu danbooru.donmai.us/posts/30740… she looks like this, her hair color has been inconsistent, but it is most commonly black, you can also see her weapons of choice in this image, a priest wand (or gohei) and her family heirloom the yin yang orbs, she has a "keep your friends close but your enemies closer" approach on her youkai hunting, she has friendly youkai inhabit her shrine, but keeping a close watch on them, there are some humans she keeps an eye on, because some of the youkai of Gensokyo were human once, to her a human becoming a youkai is punishable by death, and all she wants is peace, but she takes an interesting approach for it, in time she has developed many titles, she's the protagonist of the series, she pulls it off rather well, she can be impatient, but what's a hero without flaws

Shrine Maiden of Paradise, the Youkai Shrine Maiden, and Eternal Shrine Maiden just to name a few (there's a full article on the touhou wiki for titles)

well, once again, it's a game series

here's a traditional Touhou game www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCOYrM… this one is subtitled Subterranean Animism, this is Touhou 11, released in 2008 (apparently 10 years ago), in this one Reimu goes underground to find the source of evil spirits rising from new hot springs, i won't spoil how the plot turns out, mostly because i don't know most of the plot of this one, just the incident, but the next 2 touhou games follow the events of this one, one of my favorite tracks play against the second stage boss of this game, also try not to watch this in the dark

I'll give you a couple days to find 5 touhou characters you like, I'll give you my five (listed in chronological order) and why i like them

Youmu Konpaku is an interesting sort of half breed by being half ghost, Plus, she's got a sword
Reisen Udongein Inaba is an intriguing rabbit with a more intriguing power to inflict lunacy just by looking at you
Aya Shameimaru is a tengu with an interesting approach on her occupation
Parsee Mizuhashi has been a character i liked for her outfit, but her lore is sad
Mamizou Futatsuiwa is an amusing tanuki with an interesting power that she using interestingly, played a prominent role in forbidden scrollery
