# About me

...well, I'm an art historian (M.A.) [- just showing off, sorry^^] - but I don't choose my favourites for reasons of fine artistry, only !... :)

...I am also gay, :[ (yes, the name 'gayling' does point to it somewhat^^) - so be warned that a certain portion of the favourites has a gay/yaoi or mature content... if you don't like that stuff - don't go there^^...

...but, as far as 'high art' is concerned, my taste has always been said to be impeccable, so I advise anyone who -does- venture on this page (and who does not object to the occasional raunchy bits in between^^) to check out my faves thoroughly - there's a great number of first class stuff there (in my 'humble' opinion^^) ...oh, and check out the artists' homepages, too - I can only collect so much stuff without it being positively indecent and in some galleries I would have liked to collect every single piece there was^^... :P

...edit 091012: had a really mad afternoon today... so anyone looking for nice landscapes in my favourites has to make his/her way past 500 (or so) penises^^... :D ...what a day this was^^... ;P

...haha! hey - I'm an art historian... we don't care what the artists thinks, we just see what we wanna see!... LOL
...but, yes, naturally I read things into pics when I see them (just as everybody else does)... and, naturally, what I read into them does not necessarily need have anything to do with the original intention of the artist... artists just have to live with that, I guess... Wink/Razz - ;P
